I found the netflix show "haters back off" and decided to give it a shot. Im not a huge follower or Miranda Sings/Colleen Ballinger but I have seen some of her videos and find her and her act funny. So I thought this should be good. I found it a sort of "The Office" style of tv show. Cringy in parts but also made you feel for Miranda. I loved how she thought she was the best singer/actress/magician in the world when really she is far from it! Her mum Bethany tries to pander to Miranda and support her while also keeping hold of the reigns on Uncle Jim. Uncle Jim, I find uses Miranda as his way into the spotlight. Using his unanswered dreams to push Miranda into the spotlight with his amazing "5 stage plans"
Miranda, although she is loud, obnoxious and self absorbed, is very like-able in her sadder moments. The end of season scenes were a good example of this. Due to her ways and behaviour, Miranda lost her friends and family and was alone to see herself "go viral". Her biggest goal and there was no-one to witness it. It was a good series and one I will watch again, once season 2 is released and I cannot wait to see where she goes.
I will be pleased if all the characters return and pray Miranda and Patrick finally get together. I enjoyed seeing him pine after the oblivious Miranda!
Overall I found the series fun to watch. Cringy at times but with lots of laughs (lots of giggles behind hands while cringing!) I think the acting from all cast members was well done, and cannot wait to see more!
